Description: Hello and good day. Up for sale is this awesome covered muffin dish made by Spode Copelands. After some amateur and fairly extensive research, I believe this to be part of a tea and breakfast service made for Tsarevich Nicholas. I believe this service was gifted from King George III to Nicholas when he married Charlotte of Prussia in 1817. That places this covered dish at 207 years old. Covered dish measures approximately 8 1/2" across and 4 1/2" tall. The hand painted flowers and the turquoise enamel on this piece are stunning. Very good used condition with no issues noted.
