Description: This nice stoneware mug/tankard was manufactured by Spode of England. Commonly called a 'Grandmug'. The pattern is called 'Trade Winds' and it comes in a blue/gray ground stoneware with red transfers of ships on either side. It measures 5" tall x 3-1/8" in dia. The base states '200 years of Spode Craftsmanship 1770-1970'. I believe they were made in a limited edition of 5,000. It comes in amazing condition and do not appear to have ever been used.
