Description: Here is a vintage Spiratone Telephoto YS f1.7 85mm camera lens. The YS mount which looks to be the same as the T mount would allow you to use many adapters to use the lens on many of the standard cameras of the day. If you have such an adapter you can use the lens on newer digital cameras as well. The focus works fine. The diaphragm kinda works. It closes down as it should but I think the spring to open up the diaphragm has streated some as it does not retract quickly. The glass shows wear and I see some internal fungus and dust. I tested the lens using my Sony NEX camera and have included a shot taken with the lens above. It took excellent photos including ones with the swirly bokeh when I shot with the diaphragm wide open. Again you will need an extra adapter either a YS or a T mount adapter to use this lens. It does NOT come with one. Check out my other auctions for more vintage lenses and cameras.
