My issue is that the brackets are too short to mount the heater to the firewall without substantial spacers, or cutting a hole in the firewall for the blower motor. My mounting required fabbing brackets. Not a major issue, but it would have been better to have this thought through at the manufacturers end. Also, depending on how you set up your brackets, you may end up pinching the hose grommets. Finally, requiring the hose connections to be made inside the vehicle seems like a leak looking to happen inside the car. Yes, I recommend this product. I didnt know about drilling through carpeting. Rated by WaynB on March 03, 2021 Summary: I didnt know that when you drill through carpeting the carpet ends up on the end of your drill bit. You should have warned me in the instructions. The heater came with no directions with where to put the mounting brackets so they ended up in front of where they eventually were mounted. Drilling through the floor was no easy task either. When I drilled a hole, I couldnt find it once the carpet was back on the floor. I have thick carpeting in a 1969 Lincoln Continental and that was part of my problem. Cons: Hard To Install Pros: Drilling thru carpet would wind up on drill bit. Yes, I recommend this product.
