Aggressively styled and modeled after the popular roadster headers, these stainless steel double barrel shot gun style headers are the ultimate when it comes to headers. Designed to route the exhaust over and outside the frame rails and then down the sides of the vehicle, these are a great choice for most any roadster with a Small Block Chevy engine. Originally taken from the early roadster design these exposed Small Block Chevy headers work great on rods without hood sides, but are often used with side skirts trimmed up to fit around the headers also. These headers are ground parallel and feature .300" flanges on the cylinder head surface with 1 5/8" primary tubes. These stainless steel headers are split and feature 2 contour cut 2-1/2" collectors with exhaust baffles on each side of the engine. The 2-1/2" contour cut collectors are connected by a hidden mounting bracket on the back side with a 1/2" bolt hole, approximately 15-3/4" from the exhaust end, to allow exhaust hangers to be installed if desired. The 4 exhaust baffles do tone down the sound somewhat, but you still have a noticeable noise level, with these headers. If you are looking for quiet these are not the headers you need. Supplied with header bolts and gaskets. Fits angle or straight plug heads with no spark plug or spark plug wire restrictions.
