Description: This February 8, 1779 $90 note was elaborately engraved by Thomas Coram of Charleston. On the front, a figure and the latin motto “ARMISA CONCURRITE CAMPO” (Assemble the field of arms) can be seen on the bottom left. The reverse of this note features an incredible classical design of Hercules strangling a lion. Gorgeous note with strong ink, light paper, and incredible eye appeal for the grade.
