Description: Very rare Sony PlayStation VideoCD model, SCPH-5903 in white. The PlayStation VideoCD was an Asian territory exclusive system, it has a unique motherboard (PU-16) which features a VCD playback daughterboard. It also features a dual voltage power supply, 110vAC to 240vAC. The video game region is NTSC-J and video output is NTSC. System is in working condition but does have scratches and marks on the case, there is a small chip / crack at the rear corner (please refer to the photos for details). It is still in presentable condition and still has the original parallel port cover which is often missing. Tested with a NTSC-J game with no problems during cutscenes or music playback, I did note that the laser mechanism sounded noisy. I have been unable to test the VCD playback as I don't have any VCD's on hand. The open button would occasionally stick down.
