Description: Sony E Mount PZ 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Power Zoom Photo/Video Lens Near Mint Condition – Read Listing Here is another fantastic Sony lens that is designed for video (and you can of course use it for stills). This PZ 18-200mm lens (S/N 18011xx) is in near mint condition. There are a few scuffs on the lens underside, and a couple on the lens barrel, but nothing to worry about and only noted with close inspection. When in Servo mode and zooming is initiated, there is an initial burst of zoom speed and then the zoom stops at about 25mm. A second activation of the zoom toggle then initiates a normal zoom through the rest of the range. This occurs at all three speed settings. (H/M/L) When zooming from 200mm down through the focal range, the zoom action is normal to 25mm. If you were shooting video, if you initiated your recording above 25mm and stayed between 26-200mm, the lens functions normally. Just a minor quirk, but because of it, I am listing the lens at a lower price. There is no effect on still image recording because of this bug. The glass is pristine. The mount, the aperture, manual zoom and focus rings, everything is perfect. I’ve played with the lens a bit, and it is a nice, lightweight zoom with lots of range. The zoom and focus are nice and smooth, and of course very quiet for video. Whether you are looking for an extended range lens for photos or video, this lens covers all the bases.
