Description: For sale is a vintage Sony CFD-440 boombox with partial functionality. The radio and speakers work great as shown in the video. The CD deck spins and the digital display will turn on but does not seem to be reading as no sound plays. The tape deck does not play. Battery compartment is in good shape and unit works fine with 6D size batteries or with the power cord (power cord is included but I forgot to show a photo of it; batteries are not included). Speakers can be removed from the main unit, both of the attachment clips and original cords are still present. Good overall cosmetic condition for age with some scratches, scuffs, and markings as shown as well as a few spots of white paint on the back. Please be sure to review all photos and video provided for the best sense of condition and let me know if you have any questions prior to purchase. Once again, this is only partially functional as both the CD and tape components are no longer working/in need of repair.
