There is some pitting in the body, and discoloration in the headjoint. Could use a professional polish job. I never rushed when I put the flute away, I always dried the insides with gauze as I disassembled it. I frequently dry polished with leather. I tried many headjoints before settling on this one, they are hand made, so there were little differences in tone and ease of sound. Playing the flute is a cherished part of me, but it is from my past. I haven't played more than a few times in the last decade. I'd love to see this flute go to an avid player who is looking to upgrade to something entry level professional.
