Description: This 1960's solid teak game board for "Solitaire" or "Teasing Pegs" was created by Piet Hein, a Danish polymath. Although incomplete, this game board remains a handsome conversation piece and could be played with other wooden pegs as replacements. The paper instructions was stapled to the back of the board. It does not include the pegs. Missing original feet in the back, but this is not visible when the game is in use. 9.75" x 9.75" x 1" H Item shows wear that is consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratches, areas of coloration from a sticker and possibly water. Slight chips on the three of the corners in the back. It could be refinished.
