Here is a very nice and well preserved 1947 Men's solid 14k gold Hamilton Wesley 19 Jewel watch that dates back to 1947 per the dedication on the pop-off case back. With gold at and above $2500 an ounce these old solid gold watches are getting melted. This one is way too nice to get scraped. The Hamilton SIGNED case measures 23.5 mm wide and is 41.6 mm long. Has 18 mm lugs and is 8.4 mm thick. This mechanical USA made watch has the top-of-the-line SIGNED 19 Jewel Cal. 982 M Medallion movement and is running. Serial # M7470 on the movement. The inside of the case has the Hamilton number B535101. I have no service records for this nearly 80 year old Hamilton watch and like all of my other watches it is sold as-is and as found. The SIGNED dial has the classic 18k gold applied Arabic hour markers and gold hands. There is a new 18 mm brown leather strap attached and a vintage gold filled buckle on its end. This Hamilton watch is being sold with the old celluloid Hamilton displace box that has a minor chip on the one end. No warranty from me. Sold as-is and as found and as described.
