The side of the apple has a slit in it and you could slide a photo inside of the apple. The lamp appears to have been hand made as there are no marks of any kind on it.It has been hand painted. It does show slight wear. The shade was a bit dusty. We've dusted it off but you may want to clean it better yourself. No lightbulb will be included.
