These wonderfully pure Chalcedony Nodules with a white crust are believed to have been formed when Coral Reefs were covered in volcanic ash burying them deeply in rich chalk like sediments. The shapes that nature left us could be interpreted as the actual vegetation or the voids that were left in between the vegetation. After time and erosion these interesting Nodules were then left on the Wyoming desert surface. These specimens transmit light wonderfully. Photos have also been taken with Black Light. They would be great for Rock Shops, Displays, Wire Wrapping, Mineral Collections, School Projects and Zen Gardens. You will receive all the specimens shown above in this listing.
