Description: A first edition and first impression copy, of Smiley's People by John le Carre in very good condition. The book is very good with no rips, tears or markings. The pages are clean, with little age toning but shelf spots and marks to the top and back edge (see pics). The dust jacket is in good condition but there is noticeable wear to the top and bottom edges with chips and nicks. There is also a small tear to the bottom of the back panel. It comes protected in a plastic collectors sleeve. Smiley's People was adapted in 1982 for a major BBC series starring Alex Guiness
