The bowl you see in the first 4 pictures is the EXACT one you will receive.You will see carving marks and small surface (ONLY) splits in the wood. Rick simply distresses and waxes and seals them in to blend beautifully with the surrounding patina.And BECAUSE of the distressing/waxing process that we are put these through, they are NOT suitable for rolling dough or keeping raw foods in. Measures 23 1/8 inches long, 5 3/4 inches wide, 2 3/8" tall and weighs TWO & a Quarter Pounds! Rick did this one in a Natural distressed finish. The bowl you SEE in the first 4 pictures is the EXACT one that you will RECEIVE. The Last 2 pictures are just a sample of what one of these looks like with fruit in it.
