Description: Carved WOODEN Dough Bowl TRENCHER 0867. These are NOT suitable for actually ROLLING DOUGH in due to the waxing and distressing process we put them through.. A lot of work goes into carving out these trenchers by hand. This bowl has been carved out of ONE SOLID Piece of wood (Mountain Pine). It is smooth to the touch. You will see carving & saw marks as well as surface (ONLY) splits which just happen during the carving and curing process. We simply distress and wax and seal them in to blend beautifully with the surrounding patina. These have become Extremely popular in the Interior Design Market as WONDERFUL centerpieces OR catch-alls. Could hold fruit in the kitchen.....any number of functional uses in any number of Custom Decors. This bowl is 19 3/8 inches long, 5 3/8 inches wide & 1 7/8" to 2 1/8" tall (remember....it's a HAND carved piece). It weighs approximately 1 1/2 Pounds.
