Description: This is 1 Split Elk antler piece like the ones you see in the picture These are perfect as dog chew toys and treats. The Single split antler that you will receive will be from 2 - 4 ounces and 4 to 6 inches long. Aggressive chewing dogs will go through split antlers much faster than a whole one and are capable or splintering these, so these are best for less aggressive picky dogs that don't want to work too hard to get too the middle. They will range from brown to white but will be from fresher antlers. There is nothing better or healthier for dogs that are constant chewers. These provide great minerals for the dog and they are long lasting. Best of all most dogs love them. These are also great for any rodent that you may have including mice, hamsters, squirrels, etc. Please make sure you buy antlers that are on the big side and not on the small side. I usually take them away when they get to be of small size as they can be a choking hazard. Also be sure to supervise your pet and make sure they grind them down slowly and dont try to crack them with there teeth. Warning: Antlers can and do cause slab fractures on some dogs. Anything hard has the potential to do this so keep this in mind and supervise your dog when chewing these. Also it is best to use a large chew that they cannot clamp down on. Maybe talk to your Vet about these. These are all 100% naturally shed antlers that my lab and I, and my shed gathering friends collect. They are not treated in any way and may have a squirrel chew or some light weathering.
