Description: Small Italian Hanukkah lamp (menorah), likely 18th century or 19th backplate. Rare and highly collectible. This backplate type was made in Europe and North Africa. This particular backplate is likely Italian based on the opening being on the left side rather than in the center. The oil lamp portion may be a later addition, and is attached with more modern screws. Dimensions Height= 5 inches Width= 4 1/8th inches weight=10.5 ounces.
