He is shunned and isolated and within five months he and his family move 1200 miles away and Howard decides Its a God given second chance and he decides to move on, be more careful and to not look back. But at seventy -three he is suddenly being continually reminded of these people and what took place Howard spends the next Six Sundays in church recounting and coming to terms with the joys, struggles and tragedies that shaped and determined his young life. Nothing was ever resolved about any of the heartbreak and he did not stay in touch with or see any of these people after the family moved. At first, he is puzzled by theses memories from so long ago and resists them.
