Description: SIMPSONS COMICS AND STORIES #1, a one-shot comic published by Bongo Comics in 1993. This issue featured the first full comics appearance of The Simpsons, and stories featured Radioactive Man, Bartman, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Maggie Simpson, and Itchy & Scratchy. Creators included Matt Groening, Steve Vance, Cindy Vance, and Bill Morrison. This is a first printing, and is the 'Regular' cover, featuring cover artwork credited to Matt Groening. The comic was issued with a poster, and is STILL SEALED in the original polybag that contains the book and poster. This is the Direct Edition, with no UPC code on the cover of the book. Since it has not been removed from the polybag, we will not assign a grade to the book, other than to say that it has general handling and shipping wear. There is a small spider crease towards the center of the front cover, visible through the polybag. There are some wrinkles in the polybag, along the seam, which looks emphasized due to the light from the scanner bed when the image was taken. The pictures show the actual copy that the winner will receive. The issue will be bagged and boarded, and will be carefully packed for shipping. We combine shipping for multiple items purchased at the same time. We now use eBay's Global Shipping program for those countries that are in the program.
