This is number 127 of 1295. Slipcase is intact with color fading along the edges, some chipping to the outer paper layer with loss along the edges, however no tears are visible. Light blue cover boards are clean with some color fading along the spine, but otherwise nice. Inside pages are crisp with no visible markings or damage other than the author's signature on the edition page. Overall a good, collectible copy. James Branch Cabell was an American fantasy fiction author from Virginia whose novels peaked in popularity in the 1920s. Known for his escapist, ironic, and satirical stories, Cabell published 52 books in his lifetime. There are multiple books by and related to James Branch Cabell in my inventory; many signed, limited, and first editions.
