Description: This is a 6 3/4" tall high fire, wheel-thrown vase by Pacific Northwest Studio Artist Edward Brannan. Hand-scribed surface design, finished with his signature iron-based tenmoku glaze. Ed Brannan's signature is clear on the base. Measures 6 3/4" high by 4 3/8" wide at the lip. His skill is evident in the execution of this piece. This glaze is a high fire, cone 10. Ed Brannan grew up on a wheat farm in North Dakota, and moved to Cheney, Washington to completed his Masters degree in Ceramic Arts at Eastern Washington College.
