Description: Offered is a 10" tall x 7 1/4" long x 5 3/4" wide Bohemian glass vase hand painted and signed by Josef Ahne (1830 - 1909). Please enlarge the photos for a closer look, noting the beautiful hand painted portrait of a young girl and the 2 birds on the back of the vase. The vase was drilled for a lamp, probably at the factory, as the hole is clean and has beveled edges. There is some gold loss, as seen in the photos. This probably was caused by the lamp mountings.
