Description: This album is another signed gem that is being deaccessed from my extensive collection of signed records. The tilte of the album is "Homer & Jethro Fractured Folk Songs". It is RCA record # LSP-2954 and it came out back in 1964. Homer and Jethro were a musical comedy team (like the Smothers Brothers) known for their excellent musicianship and corny renditions and parodies of folk songs. Titles of the songs can be seen in photo 8. Jethro Burns was a legendary mandolin player in his own right and made several solo albums but he will probably be best remembered as 1/2 of the comedy team. Jethro and Homer have each signed their names and written salutations in red ink next to their cover photos on the front of the album (photos 15 & 16). There is a certificate of authenticity that will come with the purchase (photo 14) but these often don't mean squat.
