Description: -Memphis California collection -1980s Vintage California Plaster Table Lamp in perfect preowned condition. -The hand thrown classic earthen and abstract designs appear to float above the table due to the clear lucite base. Base has feet and is 1”thick and 6”x12” -Subtle statement piece: The matte finish and neutral colors melds with and stands up to interior stylings from casual to formal. -Classic example of Memphis style with the shape and lucite base mixed with the earthen / geometric/ abstract designs of the California studio movement. -The large 28” ceramic table lamp(bottom to top of socket) has a 10” diameter and patterns in relief covering all sides. Cord comes out bottom so any side can be the front. -This lamp was hand made by Casual Lamps of California , one of the west coast pottery studios of the 70s 80s and early 90s. - Casual Lamps 1985.
