Included in this listing are the signed program, two tickets to the dedication luncheon in the Rice Hotel, May 14 and a first day cover. The program and tickets were enclosures in the cover with first day cancellation of the Skylab stamp. The corners of the envelope are bumped and there are small tears at the flap fold. The dedication of the Skylab stamp was sponsored by the Houston Philatelic Society and the Johnson Space Center Stamp Club. Jack Robert Lousma is a member of the United States Astronaut Hall of Fame (1997). He served on the Skylab station in 1973 and commanded a space shuttle mission (STS-3). He earned bachelor's (University of Michigan, 1959) and master's (Naval Postgraduate School) degrees in aeronautical engineering. His career spans from USMC aviator to NASA spacewalker. Program measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
