Description: Shepherd 2.25” Metal Wheel carpet casters for medium weight furniture, Set Of 4. Brass colored, stem style (good for chairs).These are designed to use on hard floor but the plastic has broken off from one of them. It's easy to remove the plastic from them to use on carpeted floor. Box has 1979 copyright so must be newer than that. Bought in 1980s, used a few years, stored in my house since then. Still spin smoothly. Also have sets of 4 of two other Shepherd models of metal casters in stem style. Click on 'seller's other items' for these and other good stuff:2 1/2" for carpeted floor, brass color.1 1/2" for hard floor (has plastic layer on rotating wheel, which has fallen off from one wheel), silver color.
