Description: Here is a wonderful personally autographed 8 by 10 (to be exact 7 3/4 inches by 9 3/4 inches of the Rippling Rhythm Orchestra leader -Shepherd Fields. This photo is sepia toned. The autographed note says -“Luck to George - Shep Fields”. George it seems may have had the name George Fleischman who was a leader of a Reading, Pennsylvania area entertainment group called the Penn Wheelmen”. This group may have been a bicycle entertainment group but they were known for their great minstrel show to celebrate WWII victory. This show which was held in Reading, Pennsylvania was called “The Victory Frolics of 1946”. I have a collection of other famous band leaders and some of them are wishing George well on his “Victory Frolics of 1946. In the bottom left margin you have the following printed words - “Shep Fields - And His Rippling Rhythm Orchestra”. In the bottom right margin you have the following printed words - “Management -MCA - Music Corporation of America - London - New York - Chicago - Los Angeles - Dallas - Cleveland”. Photo is in acceptable condition. There are some condition issues but still an acceptable photo. Please read the detailed condition notes carefully. Thank you for looking.
