The blue on the pen is a shade darker than the pencil, but otherwise a matching set. A new Sheaffer black ink cartridge is included as the original “old style” blue cartridge is skipping. The pencil has good lead and eraser. This vintage set is ready to use or add to your collection. Box is plastic and generic (no brand). This is a used, vintage item and is not new.
