Description: This exquisite Victorian decorative teapot from Shaw and Fisher is a true collector's item. James Shaw and Fisher were active in Sheffield 1835-1894 and started electroplating in 1849. J think the teapot is made of silver plate but unsure, with intricate detailing on the body and a strawberry on the lid. The lid does not sit perfectly and there is an ivory ring missing from the handle, small hints on one side. Happy to provide more pictures in request. The mark on the bottom statesman and Fisher Sheffield 1622, a 32 and 5. It does have some white stuff whixh I think may be a cleaner, I personally have never cleaned. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. Many thanks for looking.
