Description: DreamWorks Animation "Shark Tale" movie promotional 2003 Snap Toys folding shark (that looks like the Lenny character) diorama play set with 10 of the 11 figures (only missing Oscar (the Will Smith character)) for their 2004 release of the film featuring the voices of an all-star cast where each anthropomorphic fish takes on the facial characteristics of their voice actor. Each figure has an assigned/named display position inside the opened shark. The excellent condition shark measures approximately 20" long x 8 ½" wide (to the top of the fin) x about 12" deep (hinged open) and about 5" deep (closed). The included figures (ranging in height with most measuring about 2 ½" tall) are: Lola – Angelina Jolie Sykes – Martin Scorsese Don Lino – Robert De Niro Lenny – Jack Black Don Brizzi – Peter Falk Angie -- Renee Zellweger Luca – Vincent Pastore Frankie – Michael Imperioli Ernie & Bernie – Ziggy Marley & Doug E. Doug Also included are the original DreamWorks white 21x9x5 mailing box for the shark with a large "Shark Tale" In Theatres October 1, 2004 decal on the side of the white mailing box that does show substantial mailing wear. (Mailed Jan. 20, 2004 with the figures to follow monthly -- Oscar must have been the February figure since the next figure was mailed March 03, 2004 all the way to the last one, Lenny (Jack Black) mailed Sept. 24, 2004.) Included are the original DreamWorks white 3 ¾" x 4 ½" mailing boxes with each labeled to the (lucky!) recipient, except for the Don Brizzi box where the recipient name was removed from the label. Lola and Angie were mailed in a double 3 ½" x 7 ¼" box. The white mailing boxes do show varying amounts of mailing wear. Each figure is then displayed inside a decorative display box that, as you rotate the box, has a bio of the character, a photo of the voice actor and a full color drawing. The figures were never removed from their display boxes and are all in excellent condition. Lenny (Jack Black), as the last one mailed, had a 3 ½" x 4 ¼" card folded/creased around the figure that reads: "Now that you’ve had a chance to meet all of the characters in DreamWorks Animation's new movie "Shark Tale" we hope that you will watch then in action when the movie opens nationwide on October 1." Also included are: DreamWorks "Shark Tale" Movie and Music Sampler CD in a clear case Two 6" x 9" glossy 'backdrop' cards (double-sided) Sheet of 16 decals "Shark Tale" DreamWorks navy blue movie promo baseball cap / hat one size fits all with adjustable buckle, embroidered on the front with “Shark Tale” in green/deep purple/gold and with "DreamWorks SKG" in aqua marine blue on the back (our photos also show the DreamWorks tag on the inside of the cap.) As a DreamWorks studio promotional the diorama play set was only made available on a very limited basis to such people as previewers / reviewers / field marketing executives and was never available to the general public or marketed in any retail store. Although the winning bidder will need to find the Oscar figure, this is an opportunity to own a very unique almost complete promotional in the original boxing along with some nice extras. We have selected the Local Pick-Up option if the winning bidder is in the Los Angeles area, as well as the U.S.P.S. Ground Advantage mailing option. The large mailing box needed to hold all the items (carefully and safely packaged!!!) measures 30" long x 8" wide x 12" in height and weighs nearly 8 pounds.
