Description: I got this rod several years ago(15). When I got the rod all guides and markings were gone, there was a tiny piece of a oval green Shakespeare decal on the rod but it didn't stick around. I refinished the rod. I used 7 snake brand guides on each tip and 1 snake and a agate stripper guide on the butt. Rod has a uplocking reel seat cigar grip and a nice swelled butt. Butt section is 45 3/4" one tip is 45 5/8" the other tip is 45 1/4"Ferrules are all in good shape tight to the rod and fit good. Its ready to go fishing I don't take it out anymore as I fish my rods that I make Will ship in a black ABS tube, and a new bag. If you use the Buy it now I'll throw in a new alum. rod tube.
