Description: Seth Thomas Antique Brass Ship Bell Clock W/ Wooden Plaque - 6"” Dial - WORKING - Beautiful, antique Seth Thomas American Made Ship's Bell Clock c.1920's - This is an antique "real" Seth Thomas ship's bell clock as opposed to the Corsair model made in the 1960s with a German movement - The clock is in very good original condition with a very nice, natural patina to its brass case and metal face - The clock's original dial shows natural age related wear which adds to the character of this authentic antique clock. It was likely used on an actual ship for many years- This clock features a brass balance wheel movement which is in working condition- The clock runs reliably and keeps time - The ship bell chime sounds on the hour and on the half hour and works properly chiming the proper ship's bell sequence- The clock comes mounted to a nice wooden plaque for wall mounting- The clock measures about 7" in diameter and 4" deep with a 6" dial- The wooden plaque that it is mounted to measures about 10-1/2" tall and 9-1/4" wide- Comes with a proper winding key (not the original key but it fits properly) This is a beautiful antique Seth Thomas, American made ship's bell clock in very good original condition and fully functional. This clock will make an amazing addition to any home, especially one with a nautical theme. It has very nice natural patina to the brass case and metal dial from age. Feel free to ask me any questions about this great maritime clock.
