This decomposition adds nutrients back into the soil quicker and is less likely to develop diseases that thicker clippings may develop.2 Unlike a mulching kit, gator blades still discharge out the side. This has several benefits. With a mulching kit it is recommended that the operator only cut off a 1/3 of the grass at a time.
