Each bowl features a pair of persimmon fruit with stems and leaves against a speckled ground. The top rims are brown in color. Otagiri Mercantile Company OMC was in business from 1954 to 1994 and imported wares from many Japanese kilns/companies. Most of their wares were marked with a gold diamond shaped OMC sticker. The wares are of high quality and popular during the mid to late 20th century. Our set of bowls were acquired around 1975 at a collector's fair in Sacramento, CA. The bowls are in excellent, gently used condition. We have enjoyed using them on many occasions, but are making some changes in our home. We hope to find someone who would enjoy having them as much as we did. Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details. Measurements: Each bowl stands approximately 2-1/4” in height and measures approximately 4-7/8” across the top rim in diameter. Their bases measures approximately 2” in diameter. Each bowl weighs approximately 8 ounces. The set of four bowls weight 1 lb, 15 ounces. All measurements are approximate, but close. Condition: We carefully examine each bowl. We found NO Chips, Cracks, Hairlines, Crazing, Scratches, Stains, Repairs or Restorations to note. The four bowls appear in excellent condition.
