Description: An impressive vintage collection of offset lithograph prints by well-regarded Cincinnati artist Caroline Williams (1908 – 1988). These prints were annual gifts from the Fifth Third Union Trust Co., later the Fifth Third Bank. The set comes from one of the former vice presidents of the bank. They were professionally-framed and are in great condition. "Caroline Williams was in love with the city's architecture, its stately churches, its quaint alleys, its streets that did not run straight, the steps which climbed the rocky hillsides, and the varied views from its many hilltops," her niece, Mary T. Conrad, wrote in an article titled "Remembering Caroline." Ms. Williams interest in, and the desire to document the old and obscure, the hidden nooks and doorways that seemed buried in the past, established her as one of the Cincinnati's first 'historic preservationists.'
