Description: Maker: This set of 8 beautiful hand painted cups and saucers is by B&Co, or Bernardaud, the classic Limoges firm that has produced exceptional quality porcelain since 1863 and remains a major player in Limoges today. Design: The lovely pattern - called Saint Saens - features blue flowers and a basketweave band on a background of fine, thin pure white porcelain. Age: Saint Saens was produced from 1968 to 1998. Size: The cups are 3 5/8 inches wide and 2 inches tall. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches wide. The set weighs 3 pounds 14 ounces. Condition: Fourteen of the 16 pieces are in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, crazing, repairs or wear. One cup has a small chip at the edge that leads to a crack and one saucer has a small chip on the underside rim. These damages are shown in the photos with the red arrows and are reflected in the price. Please check all the photos very carefully – they are an important part of the description.
