Description: Set of 6 B&Co Limoges Signed Donovan Hand Painted Poppies & Gold 6 Inch Plates Set of 6 antique French porcelain plates. Decorated with hand painted pink poppies over a pink, blue, and yellow background. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse in green B & Co France. This is an underglaze whiteware manufacturer's mark used by Bernardaud in Limoges France between 1900 and 1914. Signed on the reverse in red ME Donovan. These have some wear to the gilding. One of the plates has a chip to the back edge and one plate has a bruise to the back edge, but otherwise good condition. Each plate measures approximately 6 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
