DeVity had a passion for painting and art and a love for Paris. He lived and worked in Paris, then returned to Naples, opening a studio and producing paintings of France and Italy for the remainder of his career. De Vity's works have won international awards and he is recognized for his bright colors and impressionist treatment of the streets and countryside of Europe, especially Paris. These are an oil paintings on tile. Depict French/Italian countryside.Each piece is signed. Each piece is painted on a 6 X 6 inch tile. I'm the original owner. My father was an art dealer in Italy and purchased these pieces directly from the artist in 1950's. They have been stored since then.
