Description: This impressive old growth fir wood door set is from France or Belgium and dates to around 1900, possibly earlier. The doors were painted and the paint was recently stripped and the doors were then sanded. They are beautifully made and are flat and not warped in any way. Note the fine craftsmanship in the panels, trim and other details. Both doors are in very good antique condition with a handful of minor chips and scratches as would be expected. There is no woodworm or dry rot damage whatsoever. Dimensions: The door set is 96" wide (center doors are 29" wide and the side doors are 19" wide), 124.5" tall and 3.5" thick at the widest framed edge. The set weighs 265 lbs.
