Description: 3478-2024) Set of 3 Texas Tools Scrapers Knives Crescent made of Edwards Plateau Flint ranging from tan gray and black colors. The largest specimen measures at 3 ¼” length and has a beautiful direct percussion flake removed from the dorsal face where the maker finely pressure flaked the edges to the desired form. The trapezoidal or Triangular shaped scraper blade has collector writing as being found by D Anderson Brushy Creek located in Williamson County, Texas. This item is interesting as it is pressure flaked with different types of blade edge bevels on 3 sides with a bulbous platform on the proximal end. The Crescent shaped uniface tool has very nice even pressure flaking around the perimeter and has nice colors ranging from caramel to dark brown to black chocolate. All 3 items have wonderful patination and mineral deposits and range in quality from G3-7 tools.
