Description: Set of 3 vintage "Famous Amos" fiddle instruction books, each with 24 pages. They use an unusual tablature diagram type notation, using squares with the string name (G, D, A, or E) in the square, and the position on the fingerboard as a number beside the square (see photo). There are also a few pages (same in each book) showing how to hold the instrument and bow, etc. I have 2 complete sets. Some have slight smudges on covers or rust around staples, and some have slight dogears at the very corners. Offered as is. Photos are representative of what they are like. Thanks for looking!
