Description: These Dansk Mesa White Sand cups and saucers are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, staining, crazing, or utensil marks. These cup and saucer sets have the appearance of dinnerware that has never been used. Please see the photos as they are part of my description. Dansk International Designs, Ltd. introduced the Mesa White Sand pattern in 1986 and discontinued the manufacture of this pattern in 1996. The pattern features a glossy white surface with a turquoise and rust design on the rim that evokes a "Southwestern feel" to this dinnerware. These cups and saucers were manufactured by Dansk in Japan as indicated by the information provided in the backstamp. They are microwave safe, but hand washing is recommended. These cups are approximately 2 1/4 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter when measured from rim to rim. The width is 4 3/4 inches when measured from the outer edge of the handle to the opposite rim. These saucers are 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The total weight of these three cup and saucer sets is 2 1/4 pounds, and the shipping weight will be three pounds.
