Description: BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF Japanese CLOISONNE VASES IN NICE CONDITION. Japanese Cloisonne 1930's ginbari foil enamel work . The face of the vase shows a rose blossom intertwined with buds and partially opened blooms. with fine detail to the opening petals and surrounding foliage. The enamel work shows rich color and subtle shading throughout. The ground is done in pigeon blood / deep crimson with rich color accentuating the bamboo and fine dimpled base metal design. THEY BOTH HAVE SOME LIGHT SPOTS ON THE RIMS. THEY MEASURE 7 1/2” TALL AND JUST OVER 4” WIDE. THEY HAVE THE IMAGE OF BAMBOO Leaves IN THE Foil under the glass glaze. There is a 2” spot on the back of one where the surface glass is cracked. (See photos). MUCH PRETTIER IN PERSON! Shipping double boxed, insured.
