Description: Set 2 Coin S Early American Coin Silver Tea Spoon Joseph Lownes Philadelphia Pennsylvania c1785-1816 with Bold Letter Presented are an elegant set of 2 Early American coin silver tea-spoon marked for silver by Joseph Lownes working in Philadelphia Pennsylvania c1785-1816. I have included pictures of my research in the photos above. This elegant tea-spoon has a gently arced down-turned end with a tipped drop and a great period bold letter monogram of I C . They are in beautiful condition with only some dents in one of the bowls visible, some dings in both, some very minor tip ware and some fine scratches from gentle use and care. They are a fantastic addition for the silver collector with an eye for early American Silver artisans as well as a great addition for almost any table or settingI have an interesting assortment of items listed so please look at my other auctions.Measure: Inches by 5 1/2 inches long, 1 1/8” inches across bowlWeight: both pieces .9 ounce on my postal scale or 25 grams Mark: Script J.
