Description: Danish Silver Serving Spoon, large potage. The design is "Tang" which was created around 1921 with the Assayer being Danish Silversmith Christian Fr. Heise. It is considered Jugend style and the name Tang translates into "seaweed" representing nature (Jugend style) In Scandinavia the style was referred to as "Skønvirke". The markings indicate the three Danish City Towers for silver and the Assayer's initials.The bowl of the serving spoon has a light gold wash. It is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear and as expected for an antique piece.It was given as an anniversary gift and later inherited.
