They are the upgraded hybrid stainless / ceramic sealed and grease packed bearings that Serotta recommended after their early ST bearings weren't lasting very long. While these last longer than the originals, Serotta still recommended replacement every 2-3 years.These are made for the bearing based ST pivot rear triangle - I know that some Ottrotts and legends had these, not sure what other models.
