Description: Author and former MoPac employee Charles Duckworth’s third book on the Missouri Pacific is a compilation of selected b&w images from the society’s archives taken across the system. Chapters cover passenger and freight service in both the steam and diesel era; structures, terminals and yards; and a miscellaneous montage which shows employees, occupational scenes, wrecks, river boats and transfers, busses, electric operations, and floods. This book is a sampling of the MoPac, using many ¾ views. It gives the reader an excellent view of the system. This is a 160-page b&w hardcover book. Laminated cover. Gloss paper.
