Watch dates to November 1998 based on the caseback serial. Caliber 7T32 is a quality quartz chronograph movement accurate to +/15 seconds per month, with subseconds at 9 o’clock, countdown minutes at 12 o’clock, 1/5 countdown center seconds and an alarm/independent time at 6 o’clock. It’s a bit confusing to set, but if you check out the 7T32 PDF instructions online you will be able to figure it out. Domed mineral crystal is in very good condition; few central and peripheral hairline scratches; no cracks. Case and caseback have a few light scratches/scuffs; no dents. Unique metallic salmon dial stainless applied hour markers in excellent shape; lume medium strength despite age. The watch is keeping accurate time and quickset date works without issues; alarm tested and working; chrono pushers work well with no stickiness. The only issue with the watch is the minute counter as 12 o'clock fails to advance, it will move when repositioning the pointer but will not count the minutes when the chronograph is running; given this isuse the watch will be Sold AS IS, No Returns. The battery has been recently changed within the last 2 months and watch keeps good time. The original 1D1A4AZ-I 20mm stainless bracelet is sized for my 7.5 inch wrist with 1 extra microadjustment; there are no extra links. Water resistance is 100mg but the watch has not been pressure tested. No box/paper/tags. These were high end quartz watches with great build quality with an nice heft and wrist presence - Seiko makes only a few of their men's watches with salmon dials - don't miss out on this rare Sp@@dmaster in a modern size done right! Given that this is a pre-owned watch, service history is unknown, water resistance is not guaranteed and warranty unavailable. SOLD AS IS. NO RETURNS. Shipping: Priority ConUS shipping is free.
